Paws of Hope provides safe, temporary housing for animals in the homeless Las Vegas and Henderson communities, assisting their owners in beginning their rehabilitation journey.
Many homeless citizens refuse help because they fear abandoning their animals. Paws of Hope helps these animal lovers know that their animals will be cared for until they are ready to be reunited.
Meet Shine the Cat, rescued by Paws of Hope founder Fiona Stout. Shine was recused while Fiona was volunteering with the Shine a Light Foundation. It was here that Fiona saw the need for the emergency placement of these animals. Hence, Paws of Hope was born, and "Shine," the cat's legacy, will save many animals and their human companions.
